We have an exciting 2-year fixed term / secondment opportunity for a Product Manager to join our growing Merchant Product team. Te turanga | The role :
You'll support the development of our merchant services propositions and ensure our customers have the card payment acceptance services they want and need. As a Product Manager, you'll be immersed in a constantly evolving industry that responds to ever-changing customer requirements, new threats to the ecosystem, and innovation in technology. You will drive and deliver on key initiatives throughout the product management lifecycle, focusing on customer-centric design, outstanding product management, and continuous improvement to services and processes. You'll get the opportunity to work with stakeholders throughout ASB and the industry to ensure that our services deliver to ASB's purpose, brand, and customer expectations.
Being part of our broader Product and Channel Management team, you will also support the development of excellence in our product craft, driving a continuous learning culture, sharing knowledge, and upskilling each other.
You're known for your customer-centric mindset, people-focused approach, and openness to new ideas. You are experienced in product development, project management, strategy, transformation, commercial, and risk management disciplines. Ideally, you will have a strong understanding of merchant acquiring products or other payment solutions. The skills necessary to engage a broad range of senior stakeholders are essential, and you will be valued for your ability to deliver compelling insights and recommendations to all audiences. With the pragmatism to drive delivery and change at pace, you will possess strong business acumen and an ability to prioritize what is important and impactful.
You'll be keen to provide thought leadership for strategic, process, and operational improvements, challenging things we are not comfortable with.
