Help Scholastic grow and develop the standard of Mathematics across New Zealand.
As the number of schools across New Zealand using PR1ME Mathematics continues to grow, Scholastic is seeking an energetic educator/consultant with a love of mathematics. Our PR1ME Mathematics program is a best practice method of helping students enjoy and be successful with mathematics.
Your role will be to help us support new and existing PR1ME users and to build PR1ME adoption and market share across New Zealand. As an internal expert for PR1ME, your role will be expansive. It includes:
Speaking at conferences
Conducting webinars and workshops with educators
Visiting high-value customers and conducting PD sessions
Responding to customer enquiries in relation to the program
Making specialised outbound sales calls to target customers
Building knowledge of PR1ME across the sales team
You will travel within New Zealand as part of this role. While our head office is in East Tamaki, we want the right person so your work location can be flexible.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
A primary maths teaching background
Sound knowledge and understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum for Maths
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent planning, organisational and time-management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Specific product training will be provided, but knowledge of maths teaching in New Zealand classrooms is essential. The right candidate will be rewarded with a salary package that includes a fully maintained vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone.
