Process Engineer

Food / Dairy Projects – Consulting Role Project Process Design / Engineering Our client is a professional project delivery company providing engineering solutions to meet the ever-growing demand for heavy food engineering throughout New Zealand. We are looking for an experienced process design engineer to join their successful project team based in Christchurch. Successful applicants will have a strong level of process design experience particularly from within the Dairy or Food sectors. This experience could be either with a manufacturer, engineering consultancy, or an equipment supplier. The scope would cover projects like large green field projects, process optimisation, and smaller brown field projects. Although we are looking for a dairy specialist, we would also consider those with only a food & beverage-related background, making this a perfect vehicle to gain experience to begin a dairy career. Key Attributes Expected: An appropriate Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or chemical process) or similar At least 3-5 years of relevant Food / Beverage or Dairy Process design engineering experience, preferably from within a food or dairy manufacturer, engineering design consultancy, or a specialized contractor Experienced in writing tenders and contracts would be advantageous Positive "can do, will do" attitude Excellent interpersonal skills Strong English communication skills both written and verbal #J-18808-Ljbffr
