About the Role Reporting into the Head of Ministerial Services, this pivotal role involves overseeing key initiatives across the wider Ministry. This role will lead strategic planning, reporting, monitoring, and performance management initiatives across the Ministry while providing high-level advice and expertise to enhance its effectiveness, drive performance improvement, and ensure alignment with overall strategic goals. You will work closely with stakeholders to design and implement frameworks that support planning activities and performance evaluation, fostering key relationships. In supporting the senior leadership team, you will assist in the monitoring and reporting of performance data and trends. You will also lead the compilation of the Ministry's accountability documents including the Annual Report and Strategic Intentions.
The Principal Advisor, Planning and Performance role works collaboratively across the Ministry and will provide many opportunities to extend your advisory expertise across the wider ministry.
