Position: Primary Supply Teacher Location: Christchurch Salary: £120-£150 per day Start Date: After October Half Term 2024 Contract Type: Flexible hours Are you a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher looking for an immediate supply teaching opportunity in Christchurch? Our schools are seeking versatile individuals who are ready to make a positive impact through offering consistent high-quality teaching, in the absence of the pupils' usual class teacher. About the Role: As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons using the lesson plans provided and ensure that all pupils are engaged and supported throughout the duration of the day. As you attend each school, you will follow the school's policies and procedures to ensure that the children have consistency and stability in the absence of their teacher. Prior experience implementing a range of effective behaviour management strategies would be beneficial, as well as previous experience teaching a range of year groups. Key Responsibilities: Teach from the lesson plans provided Follow schools' policies and procedures Provide feedback to the class teacher/members of staff to ensure that any important information is passed on to the school Provide a safe and secure environment for pupils Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Previous experience teaching in a Primary school setting (either as a qualified teacher or on teacher training placements) Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers Dedication to promoting inclusion and equality in education Why Join Us?
