Pricing Analyst

Our client is a leading company in vehicle leasing with a people-first outlook that has led their employees to long careers and not just jobs. They are now looking for a new Pricing Analyst to join their already very experienced team to ensure pricing and quotes provided to customers are accurate. The business is very busy and this is a newly created role.
The Role:
This Role is a 12-month contract
The role is responsible for the review and analysis of quotes from the team through data analysis and checks to ensure accuracy of costs, maintenance, details of the quote, residual values, etc. You will have confidence in aiding decisions of customers and clients. Ideally, you will have a background in leasing or the automotive industry. After the initial onboarding and training phase, opportunities for flexible working may become available. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday.
Organizing, collating, and analyzing data to accurately check residual values of assets
Reviewing and adjusting quotes, and secondary quotes in competitive situations, outside normal terms/kms, or for non-mainstream vehicles
Processing mileage re-rates, contract extensions, and accessory re-rates
Recommendations for tender situations within company pricing policy
Administrating sales and leaseback proposals
Reviewing existing pricing policies to identify anomalies and out-of-date provisions
Other pricing and asset risk projects as they arise from time to time, including forecasting related work
The Candidate:
An interest in vehicles and established prioritization skills is advantageous.
A qualification demonstrating analytic ability such as economics or mathematics, or demonstration of aptitude
A background in leasing or automotives, or a keen interest in vehicles
Ability to prepare robust arguments and then communicate them through print and speech
Ability to listen, understand, and respond constructively to differing points of view
Accuracy with numbers and documentation is essential
Willingness and confidence to make decisions or aid in decisions
Providing exceptional customer service and client support
