Urenui, Taranaki Te Runanga o Ngati Mutunga (TRoNM) is the governing body that oversees the activities, interests, and aspirations of Ngati Mutunga Iwi. The Runanga is based in Urenui, North Taranaki. The Whanau Engagement Coordinator is an integral role to support Te Whiringa, the Charitable Trust for the Iwi. Strengthening the connections with our whanau through the delivery of events, programmes and online wananga will help to achieve our combined aspirations as an Iwi. If you enjoy versatility in a role, are organised, can multitask with attention to detail and can build and maintain relationships with whanau then this is an ideal role for you. This role reports to the Pou Whiringa Matua (Whanau Engagement Manager) who ensures that the strategic objectives of the Charitable Trust are carried out effectively. The role is responsible for the administration, event organisation, communication coordination and funding applications. This is a key role within a small team that requires a special person with a commitment to supporting iwi, marae and whanau social and cultural development.
