21.25 hours per week. Fixed Term till July 2025
Monday to Friday 4pm - 8:15pm
We are looking for an inspiring, retail focused supervisor to lead and motivate the PM team in the Great Escape Caf at Christchurch Health Campus.
Our team works within a fast-paced environment running 7 days per week, 365 days per year.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Complying with food control plan, hygiene and safety standards and code of conduct
Effectively leading the team to provide a quality retail experience
Resourcefully solving any issues that arise, while communicating this with the manager
Maintaining a positive and professional approach with co-workers
Maintaining site costs such as goods, waste and labour
Providing impeccable customer service
Producing highest quality hot beverages
Preparing and presenting food
Carrying out general caf and cleaning duties
Full training will be provided to all new staff joining our team.
Salary starting rate $28.00 per hour. Based on the E tu Service and Food Workers collective agreement.

Adaptability is essential as the successful candidate will be required to work across multiple work areas and complete a variety of tasks.
Operational experience in a supervisory role within retail or hospitality industry
Excellent communication skills
Able to work well under pressure
Experience in cash handling and reconciliation
Passionate about food and coffee
Impeccable customer service record
