About the Role:
Air New Zealand is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Planning Support Specialist / Planning Standards Developer.
This position is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our planning tools, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting business resilience.
A significant focus of the role will be on leveraging and integrating advanced digital tools to drive our commitment to our Kia Mau Strategy. You will play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of our maintenance planning processes, utilising cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making capabilities. This will include utilising snowflake data to unlock insights, supporting and implementing changes to data models that measure and analyse E&M business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Critical Tools: Maintain and enhance AMS, MS Access Databases, Excel spreadsheets, and locally developed tools and scripts used for capacity, slot, and production planning.
Knowledge Transfer: Document processes and perform knowledge transfer to ensure business continuity.
Business Resilience: Develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with the potential failure of critical planning tools.
Compliance: Ensure all planning tools and processes comply with CAANZ Part 145.59 (3) (ii) and Air New Zealand Part 145 MOE.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance.
Strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in AMS, MS Access, Excel, SAP, Power BI, Power Query, VBA, and Python.
Experience with capacity and production planning tools.
Strong documentation and knowledge transfer skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
