About the Role
You will provide expert physiotherapy which promotes independence, safety and wellbeing to the patients of Health New Zealand - Te Tai Tokerau in the community as well as inpatient settings.
This role is an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team process that focuses on meeting quality outcomes for clients and be presented with daily variety and clinical challenges.
You will be required to maintain a clinical case load according to current best practice standards and maintaining and improving skills are essential components to this role.

About You
Essential Skills and Experience
Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and a current APC.
Able to work autonomously and harmoniously with other health professionals.
Clear, concise recording and reporting.
Sound knowledge of physiotherapy theory and principles of practice, able to assess clients' needs and take appropriate action.
Demonstrated awareness of cultural, social and ability differences and their implications for practice.
Demonstrated client-centred practice.
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
