We are currently recruiting for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Managers to fill positions nationally.
Pharmacist Role Description:
Responsibilities
Dispensing medications and providing accurate medication counseling to patients
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Implementing and promoting professional services such as medication reviews, vaccinations, and health screenings
Contributing to the ongoing development and implementation of innovative pharmacy programs
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and professional standards
Checking and managing Dose Administration Aids
Qualifications
Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (essential)
Current and unrestricted registration as a pharmacist AHPRA (essential)
Vaccination qualified (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
Pharmacist Manager Role Description:
Responsibilities
Buying and stock control managed within Pharmacy requirements
Banking and financial systems implemented and monitored
Regulatory controls and security processes implemented and monitored
Manage daily Human Resources planning, queries and follow up, provide feedback on performance to team members
Manage expenses, any capital expenditure above $100 to be approved by Pharmacy Business Manager
Dispense prescriptions in accordance with Pharmacy Board regulations
Report all dispensing errors and near misses, or any breach of ethics.
Ensure all Dangerous Drugs and Narcotics records are up to date, check and sign all Dispensary Technician entries. DD book to be balanced monthly and any discrepancies to be communicated to PBM.
Record and complete all dispensing in accordance with legislative requirements
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory capacity required
Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (essential)
Current and unrestricted registration as a pharmacist AHPRA (essential)
Vaccination qualified (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
