Job Title: Pest Control Technician - Expression of interest
Job Description Summary We are seeking a skilled and versatile Pest Control Technician who will also perform general handyman duties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, managing, and eradicating pests, as well as performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our facilities are in top condition.
About the Role: The successful applicants will be integrated into a diverse trades team specialising in Plumbing, Electrical, and Carpentry/Handyman services. Your work will entail a balanced mix of reactive maintenance tasks and minor project implementations, allowing for a dynamic and varied daily experience.
You will work closely with your team members and other departments, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Strong communication skills will be essential as you will be required to liaise with clients and stakeholders, updating them on progress and addressing any queries they may have.
Our ideal candidates will be fully qualified, proactive and detail-oriented, able to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations that enhance service delivery. You will have the chance to engage in various training sessions aimed at not only improving your trades skills but also developing your leadership capabilities if you are looking to advance into managerial positions.
About You: Certificate in Pest Operations (Level 3) in either Urban Pest Control or Rural Pest Control.Current NZ practicing licenses/registration highly desirable.Commercial maintenance experience is highly desirable.Knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety.Excellent written and spoken English.Ability or willingness to learn to use a tablet/iPad (for job dispatch).Why Join Cushman & Wakefield?
