We warmly welcome everyone from all religions and backgrounds and we celebrate our inclusive and diverse community.    Mo te tunga | About the role This administrator role is a full time position supporting two of Queen Margaret College's executive leaders, the Deputy Principal of Wellbeing and Head of Junior School. This role will provide wide ranging and varied administrative services whilst also supporting Deans, Tutors and teaching staff.   Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and Experience Efficient day-to-day professional support to the Deputy Principal of Wellbeing and Head of Junior School, including management of diary, general administration duties and assistance with events.Coordination and organisation of resources for school events, e.g. Orientation Day, Parent Speaker Series, Student Balls, Whanau Breakfasts and Grandparents Day.Oversight of school prizegiving organisation and administration, in liaison with the Head of Junior School and Deputy Principals, for Year 1-13 prizegiving events.Administration support for the Deputy Principal of Wellbeing monitoring student daily attendance, student exemption passes, administration for student groups, coordination of detentions, update student notes on school database and any other duties as required.Administration support for the Head of Junior School, entering student data to our school platforms, creation of weekly newsletter, cross-curricular activities, afterschool care and holiday programme organisation and any other general duties as required.   Wider School Duties:  General administration support and creation of resources for the wider school body, e.g. labels, inputting and extraction data, formatting, editing and proofreading documents, as well as printing, photocopying, binding and laminating.Organisation of student entries into the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools ICAS Assessments for Years 3-10.Creating Microsoft forms for surveys and collating data. Coordinating organisation of school events including completing checklists, run sheets and collating information when it comes to hand, in consultation with your direct reports.Reader and/or writer for examination as required.Proactively improving and streamlining systems and processes to gain efficiency.Active member of data office team and performing other duties as requested within your skill set.  Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and Experience Proven experience in office administration or a similar role.Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Intermediate in Microsoft OfficeWilling to learn new software.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate and build relationships across our wider teams.Flexible can-do attitude with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in the handing of sensitive and private information.  Me pehea te tuku tono | How to Apply If this opportunity sounds like it may interest you, please email your CV and cover letter to People & Capability, at (email protected).    Applications close 15 November.
