OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to many industrial-based clients in Taranaki.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Permit Issuer to join our client's manufacturing team on a long-term temporary assignment, starting March 2025. Based in Hawera, this role is crucial to ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities: Issue permits to work for various site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of all issued permits.
Collaborate with contractors and on-site personnel to verify permit requirements.
Conduct site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to permit specifications.
Assist in the review of risk assessments and safety documentation.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with some weekend work as needed
7am - 5pm
Requirements: Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
Hold or have held a Permit Issuer certificate.
