Westland High School is seeking a dynamic teacher to deliver a combination of music, dance, and drama. We seek a flexible and enthusiastic teacher to join our team and support us in building a solid foundation for educational excellence for our students.

The successful candidate may be experienced and seeking a new context and community to serve, or they may be looking for a supportive, intimate environment to know their learners and grow and develop their professional capacity.
The successful applicant must be a NZ registered teacher, and it is an advantage to have curriculum experience. They will also need to be adaptable and willing to take on and implement new ideas whilst retaining the values of the School.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Relevant qualifications in at least one of the areas of music, dance, or drama
A willingness to learn, upskill, and grow
A commitment to co-curricular involvement - Hokitika has a thriving community theatre
Good communication skills and a commitment to culturally responsive pedagogy
Be reflective and prepared to contribute to continuous improvement
