As a Payroll Support Administrator at Pact Group in Dunedin, you will be an integral part of the Corporate Services team. This permanent, full-time position in the Administration and Office category offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of payroll operations. Responsibilities: - Providing administrative support to the payroll department by accurately maintaining employee records and data. - Assisting with processing payroll, including inputting timesheets, calculating wages, and ensuring timely payments. - Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and management, offering clear and professional assistance. - Collaborating with HR personnel to ensure accurate employee information and resolve any discrepancies. - Supporting the implementation of payroll policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements. Main Tasks: - Accurately maintain electronic employee records, including personal details, bank information, and tax declarations. - Assist with processing weekly or monthly payroll runs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. - Respond promptly to employee queries regarding pay slips, tax deductions, and other payroll-related matters. - Liaise with HR colleagues to verify employment details and resolve any discrepancies before each payroll run. - Contribute to the ongoing improvement of payroll processes by suggesting efficiencies and best practices.
