Job Summary The Patient Support Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients within our healthcare facility. This position involves coordinating patient care activities, managing associate AI appointments technology, and serving as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, drive to work independently and a commitment to providing exceptional service to enhance patient satisfaction. Duties Manage patient admin from the new AI appointment system and scheduling to optimise clinic flow. Serve as the first point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services. Ensure that communication between patients and the practice is as up to date as possible by using FaceBook and maintaining the practice website. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations. Coordinate communication between patients and medical staff to facilitate effective care delivery. Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies. Support the implementation of office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency including updating current systems. Experience Previous experience in an office environment is essential, preferably within a healthcare setting. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff. Proficiency in using office software applications. Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. A compassionate approach towards patient care, with a focus on enhancing the overall patient experience. Qualifications/Skills Pass in GCSE English and Maths is essential. Must be willing to use the phone to speak to patients in order to follow up on their communications. Must have basic IT skills and be willing to develop these with the role. Must have a calm telephone manner. Role : 15 hrs across a minimum of two days but could suit school hours. However, school holidays must also be covered.
