Pasifika Co-Ordinator

Position: Secondary (Years 7–15) / Wharekura, Certificated Teacher
Subjects: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts
Salary: 1MU + 1MMA
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-starter who is passionate about leading the way in supporting our Pasifika students to achieve high academic outcomes both in the Junior and Senior school.
The Pasifika Co-ordinator will be responsible for tracking Pasifika student attendance and achievement, fostering a strong sense of student agency, and championing student identity, voice, and leadership within the school.
They will work alongside a deputy principal and be involved in strengthening the school's relationship with the University of Auckland through their Pacific Strategy Engagement programme.
Applicants should be innovative, work well in a team, and be committed to the School's Strategic Direction.
Please state teaching subjects. Part-time can be negotiated. 3 periods per week release.
