Full Time Application Closes 27 Oct 2024 Hawkes Bay - Hastings Production Worker About the Role· Coordinate stacking, strapping and support staff to efficiently load finished goods cartons onto export pallets and export bins· Ensure the application of correct pallet labels to pallets as they are completed· Continually look for ways to ensure and improve traceability of product through the palletising areaThis is a key role supporting the Palletising Chargehand to run a key part of our packhouse operations.
Skills & Experience Required Experience in a packhouse or food manufacturing environment desirable Knowledge of dispatch processes Experience training and/or supervising others Accurate and efficient Be physically fit and healthy, able to work on your feet all day.
Be reliable and conscientious.
Able to follow and carry out documented work instructions.
Reliable and can work unsupervised.
Available to work up to six days per week, usually Monday to Saturday during the peak months at the start of the season.
Prepared to work to meet production deadlines.
Co-operative and works well in a team.
You must be legally able to work in New Zealand and be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
