Outboard Mechanic

Northland Honda are a busy store specialising in sales and service of outboards, motorcycles, mowers and other leading brands of outdoor equipment. We have an opening for a qualified Marine Technician to join our team in the beautiful Bay of Islands.Experience in the marine industry for this role includes the following:knowledge and diagnosis of marine outboardsoperation and understanding of marine specific tools and softwareable to complete a service within franchised specified timeframesable to communicate and quote on job requests / change to job with clientsexperience in fitting marine electronics within quoted timeframesaccurately records stock and labour charges on job cardsorders parts and supplies required to complete the job in a timely mannerprovides polite customer service and takes responsibility for the work including any changeskeeps a clean and presentable workstation and workshopmarine specific qualifications to NZQA Level 4, currently known as Power Boat Systems - Servicing & Repair Technician (equivalent to 5 years experience)What we offer:working with a progressive and skilled team,access to Honda and industry trainingliving in an outdoor playgroundgood pay ratesovertime work (if agreed).Apply now for this role or request a job description by contacting Ryan at northlandhonda.co.nz or 02102601622.
