sKids is looking for a few passionate and energetic Programme Assistants to join our sKids programmes in multiple sites (listed below). If successful, we will be allocating the Programme sites based on your current location. It is highly important that you are submitting your application to the closest location.WestmerePerks and Benefits we offer:50% discount on selected programmesEmployee Assistance ProgrammeReferral BonusGreat team environmentExcellent career development to a Programme Manager and up!You will:Supervise and assist children in programme activities e.g., art and craft, sport, games, offsite visits and activities (swimming, walks, picnics, movies), baking/cooking, drama, and music.Ensure that the working environment is kept clean, tidy, hygienic, and safe for all children, staff, parents, and visitors to the programme at all times.Liaise with Programme Manager, parents, and guardians as necessary in a timely manner to ensure open and timely communication.Assist the Programme Manager as required to run the daily format as scheduled as per duties outlined on the task list.Participate in all staff training including but not limited to induction training, first aid, behaviour management, health and safety, child abuse awareness, and risk management.Report back to the Programme Manager with any concerns regarding a child or behaviour issues.Hours of work:Monday - Friday: You may be rostered to work between 2 different shifts (Before & after school). Minimum 10 contracted hours per week.Possible shifts available in our Holiday Programmes.Who are we?We were founded in 1996 when two parents created a structured out of school care service for primary aged children. Now we're New Zealand's favourite kid's hangout, welcoming over 3800 tamariki each day at over 170 school sites.What could you expect working with us?Working with us brings out the inner child in all of us!
