Rockit Global Limited is an innovative and vertically integrated fruit grower and exporter, marketing fruit under the Rockit™ apple brand. Rockit Management Services manages the operational aspects of the orchards and is in an exciting phase of continued significant growth. As a result, we are seeking to employ a fulltime Orchard Sector Administrator, providing administration support to multiple orchard managers.
The role will also encompass general orchard hand work as needed, which will require the person to be adaptable to work in all weather conditions, physically fit and with a ‘can-do’ attitude. This role offers a large variety of work and seasonal variations.
Applicants ideally would have proven experience in:
• Budget Monitoring and reporting
• Data Entry, record keeping and administration
• Staff Facilities Management
• Audit Preparation/Grasp/Global Gap
• Thinning and Harvest Staff Supervision
• Quality Control processes and records
• Strong IT skills are essential
• Effective communications skills and a service ethic are required
• Holding a current full driver’s licence is a necessity
• A current Grow safe and approved handler Certificate would be an advantage.
• Some hands-on orchard experience
