This key leadership role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, champion innovation in patient care, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge service delivery in a collaborative and supportive environment.Key responsibilities include the following:Providing leadership and operational management for the Ophthalmology Allied Health teamCoordinating and optimising patient care pathwaysDeveloping and delivering professional development plans for team membersSupporting the implementation of efficient and patient-focused models of careCollaborating across teams to achieve service objectives and deliver equitable careIf you're ready to bring your expertise and passion to a leadership role that makes a real difference, this is your opportunity to shine!To be successful in this role, you will:Hold a recognised qualification in an Allied Health disciplineBe registered with the relevant professional bodyHave proven experience in a clinical leadership or senior roleDemonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skillsBe committed to equity and excellence in patient carePrevious experience in Ophthalmology is advantageous but not essential.Utu whanui - Salary rangeThis role is covered by the DHB/PSA Allied, Public Health, Scientific and Technical Collective Agreement.
