The Role Areyou a skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in Oculoplastic surgery?Do you have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and contributingto the advancement of ophthalmic services? If so, we invite you to join ourteam at Christchurch Hospital, located in the vibrant city of Christchurch, NewZealand. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ophthalmologistwith expertise in Oculoplastic surgery to join our dynamic OphthalmologyDepartment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in deliveringhigh-quality oculoplastic services to our patients, as well as contributing tothe teaching and training of Resident Medical Officers, nursing staff andsupport staff. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients requiringoculoplastic interventions. Perform a wide range of oculoplastic procedures, including eyelid surgery,orbital surgery, lacrimal surgery, and reconstructive surgery. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care forpatients with complex oculoplastic conditions. Medical degree from a recognised institution. Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists(FRANZCO) or equivalent qualification. Specialist registration (or eligibility for registration) with the MedicalCouncil of New Zealand. Substantial experience in Oculoplastic surgery, including fellowship trainingor equivalent experience.
