Operations and Project Support Assistant
An opportunity to join a high-end family-owned restaurant, coffee shop, deli, and bakery in an idyllic setting on Avon Beach.
Working with our management team you will ensure that operational processes and procedures enhance business effectiveness, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the successful management of projects.
Main duties and responsibilities:

Assist in the review, development and implementation of operational processes and procedures.
Keep up to date with regulations and legislation relevant to the business.
Monitor compliance with regulations and ensure appropriate documentary evidence is in place.
Develop and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with processes and procedures.
Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Ensure plans are in place and rolled out to support process and regulatory changes developing new processes, policies, and documentation as necessary.
Ensure effective roll out/implementation plans are in place for all new initiatives/changes and these are executed to plan and deadline.
Support with the training of managers and staff on new processes, procedures, and regulations.
Work with the Operations Manager to track and communicate performance against KPIs.
Support the planning and execution of projects related to operations and improving business performance.
Ensure project plans are in place (identifying timescales, milestones, and deliverables) and track and report on project progress to ensure successful completion.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information and resources needed for projects.
In conjunction with managers ensure that all company process and procedures are documented and regularly updated.
Develop and maintain a centralised filing system for all company processes, procedures, regulatory, compliance, and HR documentation with relevant access and security settings.
Ensuring that all documents/evidence is in place for regulatory visits (EHO, H&SE).
Develop and maintain standard forms and reports library.
Maintain accurate records of operational processes, project plans, and compliance documents.
Prepare regular reports on operational performance and project status for management review.
Research, gather data and carry out analysis to support good decision making.
Assist in the preparation of training materials and operational manuals.

Skills and experience:

Be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of compliance requirements preferably gained in the food and beverage industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
Excellent written and communication skills and able to clearly communicate at all levels.
Clerical/administration experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
