We are currently looking for an Office Administrator to join our Masterton team in a part time role, beginning 13 January 2025. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our office by managing daily administrative tasks and providing support to our staff. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organisational, communication and time management skills and strong attention to details. 

We are a medium sized community focused Architecture Practice located in Masterton. We practice across a diverse range of architecture from residential through to medium scale industrial, medical and community projects set in both urban and rural environments. We work in both the Wairarapa and Wellington areas. 

The role is for 15 hours per week, ideally between 9 am and 2pm over 3 days a week but we are flexible on hours and days. 
Responsibilities will include: 
General office duties: answer incoming phone calls, greet visitors, maintain accurate records and files, maintain clean and tidy meeting room/kitchen area/reception space, manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory, and order new items as neededPreparing fee proposals, quality assurance on building consent documents and issuing invoicesManaging consent progress for staff Provide support to management as neededAssist with general office tasks, including photocopying, filing, document preparation, and data entryWe will consider all applicants, however the following attributes would be beneficial:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong written and numerical literacy with attention to detailAbility to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively Strong verbal communication skills, including a friendly telephone mannerA great team player with the ability to work independently and take the initiativePositive, trustworthy and reliable
