The Role
We are looking to employ a full-time office administrator based in our Christchurch office. While the preferred hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, we are flexible for the right person. We all have family, friends and other commitments and we want these to be supported.
Core Functions
Providing administrative support to the Directors
Front of house including telephone, email, and in-person client contact and general administration of day-to-day office requirements
Management of our Customer Relationship Database Management Systems
Assisting with annual account finalising including PDF collating and sending to clients
Assisting with invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable
Basic payroll
Planning of team events as required

Good written and verbal communication skills

Experience working in a professional service firm is advantageous but not essential
Experience in our software systems is advantageous or the ability to learn new systems Xero Practice Manager – CRM, timesheets
Xero – invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable
Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel
Suitefiles – document management

Requirements for successful application
Must be legally eligible to work in New Zealand
Must be able to provide 2x professional referees in New Zealand
Strong command of the English language (written and verbal)
