Lakeland Steel Limited is looking for a part-time highly organised Administrator to join our team at our Morbark site based in Rotorua. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
We require a person with:
Previous administration experience
A high level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload.
Self-motivator with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and Word
Approachable and engages well with others
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare timesheet spreadsheets for payroll
Data entry of staff leave requests and updating leave calendar
Data entry of creditors invoices, reconcile purchase orders to creditors invoices, & reconcile monthly creditor statements for review by Management and payments
Answering customer calls and assistance
Preparation of accounts receivable invoicing, making amendments as required, liaising with clients for purchase orders, communicating with Management on finalising invoicing.
Prepare monthly payment claims for projects requiring progress payments
Liaise with Management and clients in relation to invoicing queries and overdue accounts.
Complete overseas shipping documentation
Data entry of consumables worksheets
Generalised data entry and errands as required
Purchasing stationery and other consumables as required
Raising Purchase Orders and creating jobs
Assisting with inwards and outwards goods as required
Assisting with stock take as required
Assistance with Health and Safety compliance
Motor vehicle and plant records
Streamlining current processes & procedures
Binding, Filing, Typing and Scanning/Copying documentation
Other general duties as requested by Management and Accounts
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
Accounts payable and receivable experience
General administration experience, preferably 2+ years
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including word, excel and outlook
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
