Night Shift Timber Drying Operator

Job ID: 161978Department: KilnsLocation: RotoruaAn opportunity has arisen for Timber Drying Operator to join the Red Stag Timber team based at Waipa Mill, just 5 minutes south of Rotorua CBD.Full free training will be provided for the right candidate to gain a specialist industry qualification and complete the New Zealand Certificates in Timber Drying Level 3 and Level 4.The hours of work will be a "4 On : 4 Off" sliding Night Shift roster which includes some weekends. Normal work hours are 6.00pm to 6.00am, including breaks. Initial training will be on a Monday – Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm roster until the candidate is capable of running a shift independently.A school record with minimum L2 passes in NCEA English and Maths, a reliable work record, and physical fitness to meet the demands of the role are basic requirements.
