Mo te tunga | About the role The successful applicant will:
Provide professional mental health and addiction service delivery to people serving Community Based sentences.
Support collaborative relationships with Corrections & Community Probation Services.
Provide Drug and Alcohol treatment, therapy, support, and case management.
Provide advocacy and support to access appropriate external support services.
Support whanau to navigate their experiences and embark on their pathway to recovery.
The successful applicant will:
Be a fully NZ registered Addictions or Mental health professional with a relevant qualification: Bachelor or Diploma of Nursing or Allied Health.
Have the ability to work in an Iwi provider context and apply Te Tiriti o Waitangi to practice.
Have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Have strong networking and facilitating skills.
Demonstrable resilience and resourcefulness.
Be self-aware, reflective, and able to practice self-care.
Have an understanding and sensitivity to working alongside all cultures.
Have a commitment to the mission and values of Te Kete Hauora o Rangitane.
