About us: New Plymouth District Vet Group is a leading Best Practice Accredited clinic situated in New Plymouth. This will be an additional veterinarian, joining our busy practice which operates with a mix of small and large animal veterinarians. Our team brings awealth of knowledge and forward thinking to our everyday environment. Experienced and passionate veterinary nurses provide valued support to our veterinarians. and a high level of care to both pets and clients.
Our team values professionalism, respect, honesty, integrity, and cooperation, and we are looking for candidates who share the same values. Our commitment each day is to provide the highest standard of care and empathy for our clients and their animals.
An experienced veterinarian with knowledge in large animal care (primarily dairy), as well as someone who is skilled and relatable to our companion clients and their pets.Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering excellent animal care.A team player who values collaboration with our team – veterinarians, veterinary nurses and the customer care team.Other role details: Flexible work arrangements: Full-time is preferred, but part-time applicants will also be considered.Afterhours commitment: Our current on-call roster is one night per week; and one weekend in every six. There is also the support of a second veterinarian on-call.Competitive remuneration: Our salaries are based on experience and expertise, with additional after-hours allowances.
