We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual with road construction and/or maintenance experience to join our busy Wellington Transport Alliance (WTA) team!
The WTA is a partnership between Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, Fulton Hogan and WSP and we work together to connect the Wellington region, delivering high service standards to the people and roading network of the region.
In this role you will inspect the Network's condition and ensure it meets the agreed Level of Service (LoS). You will undertake post-incident inspections to assess Network damage and enable repairs to be undertaken as required, identify and log defects in RAMM and monitor data quality to maintain an accurate fault model for forward works programme.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor data quality to maintain an accurate fault model for forward works programme.
Report on inspection progress.
Report any issues or concerns promptly.
Prioritise safety for individuals, crews, and road users.

Qualifications
A qualification relevant to maintaining road network assets (desirable)
A clean current class 1 drivers' licence
3 years' work experience in road construction and/or maintenance
Proven ability to work and communicate effectively with people at all levels; within and external to the Alliance
Self-motivated and able to complete work with limited supervision
Has a positive can-do-it-safely, customer-focused attitude
Has sound data entry, information management and IT skills
Previous experience working in a high-capacity motorway corridor (preferred)
Experience working in an Alliance environment (preferred)
