Network EngineerNovember 11, 2024About the Role:This role is essential in supporting customers with networking services, focusing on monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting complex issues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, offering technical expertise to ensure clients maximize their cloud infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Provide advanced support for cloud networking services, including load balancing, auto-scaling, and network monitoring.Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues across various cloud services.Collaborate with engineering teams to address recurring issues and propose feature improvements.Write technical documentation, tutorials, and guides to aid customer knowledge.Engage in process improvements to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.Key Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.Proficiency in network security protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, firewalls) and OS maintenance (Windows/Linux).Hands-on experience with networking fundamentals (HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing).Familiarity with virtual server environments and cloud-based networking solutions.Experience with firewalls and security devices, including Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, SonicWALL, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto.Strong problem-solving skills with experience in monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog).Additional Information:Remote role, but must be Auckland or Wellington-based for on-site needs.Total remuneration: $90,000 - 110,000.Join a leading brand and be part of exciting new projects.Get in touch for a confidential conversation with Miguel at 0211242749 or ******
