This 10-month maternity cover contract role will focus on two of our most dynamic accounts—Woolworths and Chemist Warehouse. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement and showcasing your strong commercial acumen. You will also be responsible for managing the forecast and delivery of financial performance on a monthly basis.Your Responsibilities Will Include (but Are Not Limited To)Trade Engagement: Act as the primary contact for Woolworths and Chemist Warehouse in NZ, executing joint business planning, managing customer P&Ls, tracking retail partner performance, leading the Category Review Process, managing account-specific marketing activities, and handling ad hoc business dealings in line with our Channel strategies.In Market Execution: Ensure the execution plan is internally resourced and externally aligned to ensure full delivery of the Customer Business Plans consistent with the company commercial calendar and track initiative outcomes using Financial ROI analysis.Budget Management: Ensure the execution of the agreed Customer Business plans within the appropriate Discretionary Spend and A&P budgets.Customer Voice into Danone: Bring customer insights and perspective into business, contribute to monthly Demand Planning, drive growth initiatives, and collaborate with partner functions for market execution excellence.Forecast & Supply Management: Collaborate with Demand Teams to ensure accurate customer forecasts for supply consistency, and adjust plans based on variances.About YouYou are an experienced Account Manager with a background in the FMCG sector, looking to advance your career. You excel at developing meaningful relationships with key account contacts and internal stakeholders. You navigate uncertainty and solve problems with agility, leveraging your strong business acumen to identify risks and opportunities.Ideally You Will HaveExperience in leading key accounts and managing stakeholder relationships within the grocery/pharmacy channels.Exposure to Field Sales, Consumer or Trade Marketing, and Category Management.Proven excellence in creating and delivering Category/Retailer Reviews.Strong financial literacy with the ability to optimize promotional programs, creatively enhance financial outcomes, leverage data insights for business and customer strategies, and effectively manage P&L.Experience in forecasting.Proficiency in MS Office and EPOS data suites (AC Nielsen / IRI Aztec).A results-driven, strategic mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving skills.About DanoneAt Danone, we aim to inspire healthier and more sustainable eating and drinking practices, in line with our Vision - Danone, One Planet.
