Puke Ariki, New Plymouth is an integrated museum, library and visitor information facility that has set a benchmark in knowledge and cultural heritage service delivery.
We have a permanent, full-time position for a highly motivated individual in the role of Multi-media and Digital System Design Officer. In this specialised role, you will design, programme and maintain the audio visual network of computer and Brightsign devices throughout Puke Ariki, and work with external suppliers on new installations and integrating them within the current system.
To be successful in this role, you must have an eye for detail, substantial experience in exhibition installation and the production of audio visual installations, along with extensive knowledge of museum standards for museum interpretation and display and a relevant tertiary qualification.
