As we gear up for a busy spring season, we're excited to welcome a new member to our small but dedicated Hastings mowing team!
What You'll Do
As a Mower Operator, you'll be responsible for mowing parks, reserves, and sports fields throughout Hastings and Havelock. Your daily tasks will include:
Operating various ride-on mowers to keep public spaces in top condition
Weed eating, edging, and push mowing for a polished finish in detailed areas
Performing basic maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability
Maintaining fields to the highest standards and meeting client expectations
Who We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you if you have experience with small plant equipment or ride-on mowers, but it's not essential. If you're passionate about working outdoors and bring a strong work ethic, you'll fit right in! Ideal candidates will have:
A full, current driver's licence with manual capability (Class 2 is a plus)
A love for the outdoors and pride in high-quality work
Basic computer and smart phone skills would be beneficial
A strong commitment to health and safety standards
A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
