Te Kaika is looking for a Receptionist for a full-time position to join our team at our Caversham site, reporting to the Te Kaika Practice's Senior Administrator. The role is Monday to Friday with no weekends or public holidays. About us: Te Kaika is a 'one-stop-shop' for family well-being, providing a range of low-cost healthcare and social services. Role and Responsibility: Deal with patients' enquiries, provide information and/or connect people with the appropriate staff member. Answer phones, emails, update internal directories and our client database - technology will be something you are very familiar with. Take care of other administrative tasks such as ensuring the front reception and waiting room are clean/tidy. Other responsibilities include making room bookings and monitoring the waiting room to ensure patients' comfort and wellbeing. Skills and Experience: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prior Receptionist experience. MedTech32 or Medtech Evolution experience preferred but not essential. Consistent, accurate, and a quick learner. Ability to build strong rapport with team members. Good time management skills and ability to multitask. Be self-driven and take initiative. Skill and empathy for a culturally diverse patient population. Excellent engagement, communication, and motivational enhancement skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a highly demanding environment dealing with conflicting priorities that require initiative, flexibility, adaptability, and high-level analytical problem-solving skills.
