About the role | Mo te turanga:
The Frankton based laboratory provides pathology services to the community and needs a registered Technician with a current Active Practicing Certificate (APC). We will also consider applications from the right new graduate who wishes to gain a good, all-round, practical grounding in an exciting and fast-paced environment or a technician that has the ability to do the post graduate qualification to then register as a technician.
This is a full-time permanent role, 80 hours per fortnight and will include working on the weekend and rostered shifts as required.
To be considered for this role you will have:
NZ Medical Science Council Registration and a current Annual Practicing Certificate
A background in Haematology / Biochemistry
Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure
Flexibility and willingness to participate in different shifts as required
Customer focus and commitment to providing high-quality service, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Valid NZ work visa or NZ/AUS citizenship.
