Mechanical Fitter

Nationally run business with locations across NZ, this large industrial/mechanical company is looking for a mechanical fitter to join their site & repair team based in Taupo. Work consists of repair and replacing/copper wiring with some installation and travel required. This company is in prime position to grow further into 2025.
What you'll need to succeed A minimum of one to two years experience either welding, fitter/turner, toolmaking or maintenance
Industrial and mechanically minded and willing to do on-call work
Willing to train apprentices and provide guidance to a small knit team
Team player willing to travel to site and occasionally support in overtime work when required
Reliability & a good attitude
Rigging experience and Forklift licence are preferred but not necessary
