Together, we will bring the best of Suntory to Oceania.The OpportunityThis role is key in ensuring the efficient and uninterrupted operation of the production machinery. This role works closely with production to ensure that production targets are achieved and that engineering issues are resolved in a timely manner.What you'll be doingPerforming planned maintenance as well as completing related documentationOptimising plant reliability and minimising operating costsResponding to any breakdowns quickly and efficiently, escalating issues where appropriateProactively working to make improvements on cost, quality and downtimeImproving efficiency with all maintenance assignmentsIdentifying opportunities for continuous improvementEnsure all safety standards are metWhat's in your toolkit?Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of the businessExperience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment – FMCG/beverage experience is highly desiredYou demonstrate initiative and are a self-starter.A continuous improvement mindset; you will be able to identify improvements and lead continuous improvement projectsElectrical or mechanical trade certificationFlexibility to work a variety of hours and shifts – including after hours and weekendsStrong organisational skills; you will be able to plan, prioritise and maintain performance with conflicting prioritiesA safety-first mindset - this will be at the core of everything you doIf you're not an expert in all of these areas, don't worry!
