Specialist manufacturer requires a Mechanical Design EngineerWith an increased workload, they need a Project Engineer who can take responsibility for the design, manufacture, and installation of their machine systems.As a specialist designer and manufacturer, they provide numerous industries with special-purpose engineering solutions. Work will range from modifications and additions to rebuilds or multi-million dollar custom-built new plants.Working autonomously, you will take projects from concept to completion – from initial client contact and taking a brief to design and documentation, prototyping and testing, overseeing manufacturing, and finally to installation and commissioning. You will also provide sales support, design and site support, and customer liaison and handover. It is a varied and challenging role encompassing design, technical, project management and commercial elements.To be considered for this role you will:be an Engineer with over 5 years experience working in a mechanical or machine design rolepossess strong design and technical skillshave experience working through the entire lifecycle of a project – concept, design, manufacturing and commissioningbe experienced working with hydraulic and pneumatic power systemsdemonstrate project management and project engineering experience – and be able to provide examples of successfully completed workbe CAD proficienthave a first-class attitude to solving problemsbe an effective communicator.Above all, what's required is an enthusiastic, first-class Engineer!A unique opportunity is on offer: interesting jobs, a great employer, and the chance to take charge of your own work.
