About the Role: As a maths teacher, you will be teaching students of the Key stage 3 and Key stage 4.
Although the school are seeking a full-time teacher, there is scope for a job-share so part-time is possible too.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality maths lessons aligned with the school's curriculum standards, ensuring that students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to thrive.
Utilise innovative and interactive teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications to make math relevant and engaging for students.
Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning and respectful behaviour among students.
Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
Teaching certification in Mathematics.
PGCE/QTS/QTLS Previous experience of teaching mathematics at the secondary level is preferred, not mandatory.
Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school's curriculum.
Skills: Ability to create engaging and informative lesson plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Effective classroom management.
