Job Description AFFCO Head Office – situated five minutes north of Hamilton – is currently seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing & Communications Lead.
If you are passionate about digital marketing, communications and brand management, and eager to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you!
The ideal candidate will have experience in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline and will be seeking the opportunity to take the next step in their career.
Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across the business and within the local community is essential.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment would be advantageous.
In this role, you will lead and execute external promotional campaigns, ensuring AFFCO maintains a strong online presence through ongoing digital marketing efforts.
You'll manage and develop our company websites, monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools, and oversee our social media channels.
Coordinating with consulting agencies and contractors, as well as managing marketing events, will be part of your daily activities.
On the communications front, you'll handle both external and internal communications, crafting content for our website/intranet, press releases, social media, and internal newsletters.
You'll assist with drafting messages from senior leadership and create engaging newsletter and email marketing campaign content.
Beyond marketing and communications, you'll dive into graphic design by designing logos, icons, banners, and other branding elements such as packaging and product collateral using Adobe Creative Cloud/Canva.
Furthermore, you will: Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns and monitor campaign performance.
Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity across all platforms and materials.
You will also use your copywriting skills to create engaging content across various platforms, including websites, social media, email and recruitment campaigns that is aligned with the AFFCO brand.
Qualifications The successful candidate will have the following knowledge and skills: Bachelor's degree in Business with a major in Marketing.
A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a marcomm environment.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Ads/Analytics).
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects.
