The Marketing/Communications Coordinator will be responsible for writing engaging and exciting content whilst competently using design tools to create a range of print and digital materials. Our successful candidate will value staying ahead of trends and insights and will be eager to take charge of our marketing function.
About the role:
We're looking for someone with marketing/communications experience and can sink their teeth into projects and hit the ground running. Key responsibilities include:
Manage all marketing functions within the business and execute the marketing strategy as determined by the Board
Prepare, write, edit and upload online marketing and promotional communications
Create engaging marketing content that resonates with our audiences
Manage and operate CRM and marketing automation/EDM platforms
Implement improvement projects within the marketing department
Foster a customer-focused approach
About you:
You may be a marketing or communications coordinator looking for a new challenge or a journalist looking to use your writing skills in a broader marketing position. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Experience in content creation, social media and marketing
A working understanding of marketing principles and processes including video and web/e-commerce platforms and operation
Excellent writing and communication skills to craft compelling and engaging content that generates leads
Experience using digital platforms and Adobe Creative Suite applications, as well as a strong grasp of CRM software and marketing automation/EDM platform management would be an advantage
Positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
A keen eye for detail and a creative mindset
