Market Leader - Digital Services and Innovation - Transport - ( 2400026N ) Description Market Leader – Digital Services & Innovation, Transport The role This Digital Services and Innovation Market Leader role provides focus on the digital services we provide to our clients and our ability to grow a culture of innovation driven revenue growth. The purpose of the role is to lead the overall digital growth ambition within Stantec's Transport New Zealand business. In doing so, be an innovation champion and lead the journey towards being a technology forward organization. This role is a senior leadership position within Stantec's New Zealand Transport business and our Digital Practice in ANZ, with a Matrix-reporting line to the Digital Technology Director – Asia Pacific & Regional Director Transport NZ, this role is key to achieving growth of our digital services in the New Zealand Transport Sector, to our clients, helps to grow the market and assists in branding the market within our business. As a Market Leader, you will enjoy client recognition as a leading practitioner, and this will assist you to promote the delivery capability and specialist expertise of our digital services & innovation to our clients and facilitate the winning of projects. Specifically, your duties will include: Client & Market Brand: You will be sought by clients to provide trusted advice and assurance in the delivery of our services and products. Your ability to position Stantec within the digital services sector will provide us with an opportunity to not only respond effectively to bids, but to also create opportunities and take them to clients. The Market driven winning, and delivery of landmark projects will raise our market brand and position us to recruit leading talent. Market Growth: You will apply strategic thinking, accounting for global trends within the market, and the impacts of other market trends such as climate change and renewable energy. You will work with the Regional Director to develop new business and develop and deliver strategic bids. You will Identify the strategic direction for the Digital market and work with the Regional Director in the implementation of strategy. Collaboration Locally, Regionally and Globally: You will assist in bringing global experience and knowledge to our clients as a key value proposition and differentiator. You will develop strong links with your counterparts in our North American, UK and Middle East business lines. These links will facilitate the transfer of knowledge and experience to both our clients and to our teams. Develop effective regional delivery capability, which is sufficiently independent to provide the services that our clients need. Project Delivery: Your project roles might include taking a technical lead, being a reviewer, acting as an advisor, or serving as a project director. You will work to ensure that Practice Leaders and Technical Specialists develop and maintain the guidelines and procedures that improve the efficiency of our delivery. You will ensure that our teams are sharing learnings, guidelines and procedures which lead to increased efficiency and accuracy in delivery. People Leadership: As a leading practitioner your mentoring will assist in the training of fellow practitioners to increase and broaden their skills. You will also work with the Regional Director to identify where we need to recruit so that our service offerings are broadened or augmented. You will create along with the Practice Leaders, a Market that ensures a collaborative approach to success across the practices within the digital market. Quality and Innovation: Work with the Business leadership functions to drive improvement opportunities and quality of project deliverables and to meet and exceed client expectations.
