Manager / Senior Manager, Procurement (Governance, Category Management and Special Projects)
The Procurement Division comprises three functional teams in the domain of Operations, Governance, Category Management, and Special Projects overseeing all procurement policies, systems, and activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Be a change agent in building a culture of procurement compliance through continuous monitoring (aided by data analytics), improvement, and training to stakeholders.
Development and implementation of best-in-class methods to perform smart audits through outcome of data analytics and industry best-known methods.
Coordinate and respond to procurement audits together with the Procurement Operations team.
Develop analytical insights on specific commodities and macro-economic trends to recommend strategies.
Possess and build specialist/domain knowledge of specific commodities.
Set best-in-class commodities management strategies and tools (e.g., contract terms/models) with the Operations team to implement effective knowledge empowerment of stakeholders.
Work with stakeholders on critical projects to understand business priorities, propose, and execute operational strategies considering risk mitigation, proper governance, cost management, and timelines.
Translate recommended strategies into initiatives and execute the initiatives.
Monitor and track the progress of initiatives for management reporting.
Job Requirements:
3 years of relevant experience.
Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, ability to translate data into intelligence.
High achieving, independent individual with clear communication skills for stakeholder persuasion and management reporting.
Resourceful individual with active listening skills to gather information and anticipate next steps.
Situational problem-solving skills with the ability to concise complex problems into executable solutions.
Good project management skills to deliver results with given resources and timelines.
Strong understanding of contracting principles, capable of drafting contract solutions with limited supervision.
