We are looking for an experienced people leader who is solution focused to lead our high performing Financial Systems team.
Our Corporate Finance team sits within our Corporate Services group which has a kaitiaki role across the Ministry – protecting and looking after our organisation so we have great people, processes and technology.
The position of Manager Financial Systems has responsibility for leading the development, implementation and administration of the Ministry's core financial systems, budgeting, forecasting and reporting systems, and to provide all finance system related period end activities to support the financial reporting process.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced people leader of influence and have significant work experience in tier 1 enterprise resource and planning systems , FMIS and budgeting, forecasting and reporting tools. You will be solutions focussed, and have broad experience including trouble shooting and knowledge of accounting systems combined with knowing how to get the most value from an ERP and contributing systems will be advantageous. Your primary approach is always to be solution focused in your delivery with a dominant bent to collaborate with IT and finance teams to meet business requirements.
