This is a full time position of 40 hours per week.
The remuneration range for this role is $125,174 to 176,716, with $147,263 being the 100% mark (including KiwiSaver), depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity
Your opportunity to create efficiencies and effectiveness to ensure the best use of our funding. You will lead the Financial Performance team to deliver monthly management reporting both externally (to councils) and internally, fact-based insights and analysis, accurate budgeting and forecasting information, and financial and commercial advice. You will have the ability to look beyond the numbers.
You will get to:
Provide high quality management reporting, both internal and external.
Manage the process and preparation of Annual budgeting and regular reporting.
Provide financial performance advice to Senior Leaders for business decision making.
Lead and develop the financial performance team.
Lift and upskill the financial capability and financial acumen across the organisation.
Work in a collaborative environment and help support the finance team.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
A Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent).
Ideally 10+ years of relevant accounting experience.
People management experience.
Experience in complex budgeting and forecasting processes in a large organisation.
Ability to translate financial information to non-finance staff.
Seasoned relationship and influencing skills.
