Manager - Business Advisory Services

An opportunity has become available for a Manager or Senior Manager to be part of a modern practice that continues to evolve and be at the forefront of the public practice industry.
Our client is a progressive Chartered Accounting and Business Advisory firm that boasts a varied client portfolio across multiple industries, providing the full gamut of accounting and business advisory services. As a Business Advisory Manager, you will be working closely with the Directors to manage a sizable list of clients as well as managing and mentoring a team of accountants.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing a sizable client portfolio
Developing strong relationships with clients as their trusted adviser
Manage and reviewing the work of a small team
Manage the work flow of the team
Managing the firms larger jobs
Providing business coaching
Training and mentoring junior staff
Project based work – supporting Director with business advisory projects
Identifying opportunities to add value to clients

Skills and experience required: This position would be ideal for a Manager currently working in a Chartered Accounting practice who may be seeking a fresh challenge, a better fit or a clear career path. Alternatively, you may be seeking a return to the CA environment from a brief stint in the commercial field. At least five years experience in a New Zealand CA practice is expected.
