Your team will ensure daily maintenance and repair of the production plant and equipment. You will oversee that the maintenance team are adhering to professional standards, are running efficiently and productively, whilst in compliance with HSE Legislation.Duties include:Providing technical & supervisory support for the maintenance teamHands-on supervision of maintenance & repair worksEnsuring minimal downtime whilst compliance with H&SMonitoring the quality of work of maintenance teamPromote a team working philosophy, motivating the workforceYou will still be on the tools as the leading member of the teamRole Requirements:Trade Certified Level 4: Fitter/ Turner/ Welder or equivalentMin. 5 yrs hands-on experience in maintenance & diagnosticsStrong preference for FMCG/ food processing site backgroundStrong English language necessary in this loud, busy environmentExperience in preventative maintenance measuresCompetent in implementing continual improvementsIdentifying training & development areas for your teamExperience in mentoring junior/ apprentice team membersWe can only accept applications from current holders of:Full NZ Work Visa/ NZ Residents or CitizensThe Rewards:Competitive hourly wage circa $90-115k p/aOvertime ratesThis company is growing hence the need for this newly created rolePLEASE APPLY NOW with current CV & proof of NZ work rights or call Julie on 027 7528461 for more information.
